Push notifications can be sent from the server to the users that have a concrete App installed. Notifications are used to inform users. We can tell them that they should use the App to see certain new information, we can remember them simply to use the App, to buy a new item (acting as an advertising tool) or to offer them promotions among others. The possibilites are unlimited.
